“…Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country.”
John F. Kennedy, 35th President of the United States of America
The Cambodian people have suffered war time tragedies and political injustices through most of the last half century. The suffering not only continues, but has accelerated during the first decade in this new century. Injustice happening anywhere hurts justice loving people everywhere.
Henceforth, we pledge our commitments as follow for a better Cambodia :
- To seek true democracy in Cambodia through the political framework of the Sam Rainsy Party, a party that put first the integrity of the nation and the well being of its citizens, a party with responsible governance, respecting rights of citizens, and for national progress.
- To expand the support base among all Cambodian expatriates in the North America, Europe, and Australia through collaborative efforts both in political and financial contributions.
- To work with national and international governments and organizations raising awareness of the human suffering from bad governance, political prosecutions and injustices, and to call for actions to end those crimes in Cambodia.
